PHONES!!!! –
to help save Chimpanzees
SJC are now recycling old mobile phones to help save chimpanzees and their dying environment in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The mining of Coltan (used to make mobile phones) is found in the Congo River basin, this means trees are being cut down in order to mine the Coltan therefore the chimps environment being destroyed. By recycling the phones the Coltan can be recycled which eliminates the need for the mining of Coltan and the destroying of the environment of the chimps. So please if you have a phone donate it to save lives of innocent chimps.
